We are looking for a dedicated and experienced HSE Manager to join our Global Operations team. We have 3 casting sites and 2 machining sites located in Denmark, Sweden, India and China. The key objective for you will be to support the continued HSE development of the global organization. Your base location will be in Lem, Denmark. As this is a global group position, there will be opportunities to travel. You will be reporting to our SVP Global Operations.
Your main responsibilities
You will be responsible for the management of global HSE activities such as:
- Risk management of HSE business critical risks.
- Leading the development of mitigation and contingency plans together with local and global stakeholders.
- Overview of HSE legal and customer requirements at global level.
- Provide professional HSE counselling for the management team.
- Implementing and driving Baettr HSE Community and Safety Awareness Community.
- Implementation and follow up on HSE awareness topics and programs for the entire organisation.
- Participation and support for ISO 45001 and 14001 internal audits and Management Reviews.
- Management of chemical and material blacklist.
- Developing global safety training material (risk assessment, root cause analysis, safety walks etc).
Professional and personal qualifications
You have a relevant further education. You have at least 5-7 years’ experience working locally with HSE and you are now ready to take on global HSE responsibility. Your current activities have typically contributed to improving HSE standards and processes and you can document your successes in driving HSE awareness programs. You have good project management experience and your projects have typically required a professional approach to change management. You have good technical understanding and strong stakeholder management skills and are used to creating working relationships across an entire organization. Holding focus and prioritizing are key attributes and together with a proactive approach, strong communication and presentation skills you can drive your activities to reach successful conclusions.
