The position as Group Financial Controller is newly created as we are strengthening our competent and dedicated Global Finance team. Based at our HQ in Lem, Denmark, you will together with four other controllers and your manager, the Finance Director FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis), work effectively to take our accounting area to the next level for our global organization.

Solid business understanding with an international mindset

The position is a central role which includes running tasks, processes, and projects within accounting and internal controlling as well as working in close cooperation with our management and other departments. This also means that some travel activity must be expected.

You will get a varied and developing financial role, where you will be an important part of the technical consolidation by supporting the standards and guidelines setting within accounting. You will manage and plan the monthly, quarterly, and yearly accounting process – and monthly, you will be an important part of the consolidation itself, and on an annual basis you will participate in the planning of the audit of the annual report for the entire Group.

In addition, you will be providing support and advice to our sites worldwide on internal accounting guidelines in accordance with IFRS and other reporting and accounting issues in close corporation with the local finance teams.

Key tasks include:

  • Financial support and advice to our companies around the world
  • Support the month-end and year-end process and Group consolidation and reporting.
  • Support Budget and Rolling Forecast processes.
  • Develop and improve internal processes and procedures.
  • Secure compliance in the group
  • Risk and financial analysis
  • Management reporting and analysis.

Structured, adaptive, curious, and ready to elevate

You hold a relevant financial education such as HD-R, CMA or similar, and you have gained your first experience in controlling and financial reporting from, for example, an auditing office. You have gained experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics) and knowledge from working with consolidation systems (Cognos) will be an advantage.

You have a natural ability to work with Excel and Modeling and have a curious approach to these and other programs. You enjoy stakeholder management and are used to creating working relationships build on respect for one another’s work. Keeping focus, prioritizing, and structure to your tasks are key attributes and together with a proactive approach, strong communication and presentation skills, you can drive your activities to reach successful conclusions.
