About the role

On behalf of Kallesoe Machinery, Academic Work is seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to strengthen their Mechanical Engineering team and contribute to their continued success. Kallesøe Machinery are at the forefront of innovation in the wood industry, developing advanced machines and production lines that set the standard for quality and flexibility.

Work tasks

  • Calculate constructions, capacities, and speeds
  • Optimize existing designs
  • Help set the standard for quality and functionality both for machines and processes
  • Take responsibility for product development

We are looking for

  • Relevant educational background as a Mechanical Engineer, Mechanical Technician, Technical Designer, or similar, with practical experience in product development and design within a manufacturing company specializing in process machinery and systems
  • Proficiency in capacity calculations, as well as strength and fatigue analysis on machinery, demonstrating a strong understanding of production processes and mechanical systems
  • Good English written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with engineers, production staff, and management, combined with persistence and a structured work approach. It is meritorious if you can speak Danish
  • Experience with 3D software such as Inventor or similar, along with the ability to visualize and communicate processes clearly and precisely
