Experienced and pragmatic CFO for defining and implementing effective group policies and solutions.
Can you ensure timely and adequate financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting and put it to good use in both strategic and operational contexts? Are you able to define and implement effective group policies and solutions for financial risk management, IT infrastructure, insurance, and CSR? Do you have substantial experience with operational and financial controlling and leading financial teams across sites and countries? And do you have a no-nonsense, fact-based, can-do-approach to business and process development? Then you could be the CFO we are currently seeking on behalf of Vestas aircoil A/S.
In your capacity of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and member of C-level management of the company you will assume responsibility, including the continuous improvement, for all details within your scope and function. This includes participation in strategy formulation and hands-on implementation as well as preparing and presenting material for the board through participation in board meetings. You will be responsible for timely and accurate local and consolidated reports, forecasts, and budgets and for the hands-on execution of policies and tasks related to local and group financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting. Furthermore, you develop a detailed and automated controlling model and framework to identify and understand development in cost drivers and actively utilize this data to improve business.
Your responsibilities also include leading the continuous development of the company-wide controlling process and defining and executing policies and tasks related to reducing financial risk. You will redesign and implement proprietary company software to calculate cost and sales prices and ensure appropriate and cost-effective solutions for group IT. You also ensure timely and compliant handling of external affairs with auditors, banks, insurance companies, lawyers, public authorities, etc. and of CSR at all company sites through group policies and execution of plans and tasks. You will be part of the executive board and will be registered as a director with the Danish Business Authority (Erhvervsstyrelsen).
Criteria for success
To succeed in this position, you will need to truly understand all details about all numbers affecting business performance, including their internal relations. You must develop a detailed controlling model and framework to ensure comprehensive understanding and appropriate reactions to factors affecting company profitability. Furthermore, you must ensure an effective IT infrastructure and cybersecurity protection along with on-time and on-budget implementation of software at all levels and all sites. Group policies for financial risk management, IT and CSR are also among your KPIs along with ensuring full legal compliance at all sites.

Extensive international leadership and financial controlling experience
Your academic background includes a master’s degree or the equivalent in Auditing, Controlling, or Financial Management. You have over 10 years of experience with operational and financial controlling from an international, multi-site manufacturing company and with management of financial teams and people at different locations. You practice ambitious leadership through talent development by empowerment and support, and you apply a strong business approach to your precise and effective communication with all levels of audiences.
You are a no-nonsense, fact-based, pragmatic, can-do-character, and a highly visible front-line leader. A natural-born numbers detective who finds motivation in looking for explanations and understanding, and with a strong personal drive and ability to execute effectively and timely on plans. You are fluent in Danish and English and have the motivation and the opportunity to travel 30-50 days a year between group sites.
